A person was fatally shot in Denver on Wednesday morning and a suspect is in custody, police said.
The shooting happened in the area of South Federal Boulevard and West Ohio Avenue, the said in an 11:29 a.m. tweet.

At 12:27 p.m. police tweeted that the victim died and a homicide investigation is underway. Police did not release the identity of the suspect. The will release the name of the victim after family has been notified. Details about the victim, including their age and gender, were not available.
