A suspect has been arrested for a fatal shooting in Denver.
Quadre Lamb, 28, is being held for investigation of first-degree murder, the Denver Police Department said Wednesday on X, the social media site formerly called Twitter.
The shooting happened about 1:10 a.m. Aug. 17 in the 2200 block of Welton Street, police said. The victim, Danzel Atkins, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Lamb was arrested Tuesday.
