Update 6 p.m.: The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are blocked in Golden at U.S. 6 due to a multi-vehicle crash, the Colorado State Patrol reported.

Troopers advised eastbound drivers trying to get into the Denver metro area to use C470 instead of the interstate.
Update 4:40 p.m.: U.S. 6 is closed from Golden to Idaho Springs due to a crash.

The road closure starts at the U.S. 6 and Colorado 119 junction.
Colorado 119 was also closed but has reopened.
Update 3:40 p.m.: The westbound lanes of Interstate 70 have reopened just east of Vail Pass Summit after being closed for over an hour, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The National Weather Service in Grand Junction says of snow during the day Saturday and another three to seven inches Saturday night.

Colorado 119 between U.S. 6 and Black Hawk is shut down in both directions due to a crash, the Colorado State’ Patrol’s Golden office reported just before 3:30 p.m.
