CU Denver creating lab to test outdoors gear in partnership with Outside Inc.

Students will get hands-on experience by testing skiing, running and hiking gear using highly sophisticated machinery

A custom-designed impact-testing device at the University of Colorado Denver has been used to test football helmets under an NFL contract, but it can and will be used to test ski and bike helmets at the newly created Outside Lab at CU Denver, a partnership between the university and Outside Interactive Inc. to test outdoors gear.
