According to a Pueblo Police Department post on X, the roadway was closed from West Highway 50, mile marker 101, until 13th Street, mile marker 99B.
Wednesday’s crash is the second time in a month that some or all lanes of I-25 were closed.
On Oct. 15, a train carrying coal over an interstate overpass north of Pueblo derailed and collapsed the bridge. The derailment killed 60-year-old Lafollette Henderson of Compton, Calif., a truck driver passing under the bridge, and spilled coal all over the roadway. The interstate did not fully reopen until Oct. 20.
This is a developing story.
