A semitruck fuel spill on eastbound Interstate 76 shut down the roadway to northbound Interstate 25 Sunday morning.

A small leak on the underside of the truck’s tank spilled fuel on the roadway, closing I-76 to northbound I-25, Adams County Fire just after 11 a.m. Sunday.

The leak is estimated to be between 50 to 100 gallons of diesel fuel, and a tow truck is on its way, .

Traffic is being diverted to southbound and northbound I-25, but traffic cannot get over I-25 and continue to I-76, the .
