A Colorado couple was arrested after reportedly breaking into a Silverthorne condominium unit where police say they lived for nearly the entire month of November.
Between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30, the 21-year-old man and the 27-year-old woman were each recorded on a Ring camera entering the two-bedroom condominium in Wildernest more than 40 times, according to court documents.
Law enforcement officers arrested the two Dec. 10, each on a charge of second-degree burglary of a dwelling, a Class 3 felony; criminal mischief between $2,000-$5,000, a Class 6 felony; and 40 counts each of trespassing in a dwelling, a Class 1 misdemeanor, court documents state.
On Dec. 3, a Summit County Sheriff’s Deputy reportedly was dispatched to the condominium unit after the owner received a call from a neighbor who knew no one was supposed to be there but had been hearing people in the unit since around Halloween.
