A 29-year-old man is suspected of first-degree murder in a fatal shooting in the 2900 block of West Cornell Avenue, according to the Denver Police Department.

Terrell Alexander Hunley is wanted in connection with the shooting in south Denver that killed one man at 9:22 p.m. Nov. 27,

The victim, 30-year-old Shawn Garrette II, was transported to a hospital after the shooting and later died.

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner found Garrette’s cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.
