One man was killed in a shooting in the 2900 block of West Cornell Avenue, according to the Denver Police Department.
Officers responded to a shooting in south Denver at 8:46 p.m. on Monday, according to a post by the department on X and spokesperson Kurt Barnes.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he later died. The department is investigating the incident as a homicide.
Detectives are working to develop suspect information in the case, Barnes said Tuesday.
