3 Colorado resorts are charging $299 for a lift ticket this weekend

Price of a single-day lift ticket during the busy holiday week has risen by $100 over the last six years

Vail Mountain is charging $299 for a single day of lift access during the busy holiday week, up from $275 last season.

That represents a $100 jump in the price of a single-day ticket over the last six years. In 2021, a single-day pass during the holiday week was $239; it was $229 in 2020, $219 in 2019, $209 in 2018 and $199 in 2017.

And while itap the highest lift ticket price guests have ever seen in Vail, itap not alone as the highest in the country. Steamboat and Deer Valley are also charging $299 currently, and Deer Valley is no longer selling lift tickets for the coming weekend.
