A man died and another was injured in a Monday night shooting near Hidden Lake in Westminster.
Multiple people called 911 about 8:30 p.m. to report the shooting in the 3800 block of West 68th Street, Westminster police said in a news release.
Responding officers found two men with gunshot wounds, and both men went to a hospital, where one died. The Adams County Coroner’s Office on Friday, Jan. 5, identified the man who died as Diego Severo Ulibarri, 24.
Police said it appears the shooting was the result of an argument between two people with ties to a nearby apartment complex. No one else is in danger, police said.
