One killed in Denver shooting; no arrests made

The shooting happened in 1600 block of South Federal Boulevard, according to police

A shooting Friday morning in Denver left one man dead in the city’s Ruby Hill neighborhood, and police are searching for suspects.

Officers are investigating a shooting in the 1600 block of South Federal Boulevard, the police said .

One man died from his wounds at the scene, .

The man was later identified as 35-year-old Luis Gomez-Reyes, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. His death was ruled a homicide from gunshot wounds.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made, according to Denver police.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
