Police are investigating after a late-night crash in Denver Wednesday left one pedestrian dead.

The Denver Police Department posted about the crash — which happened at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and North Colorado Boulevard, adjacent to the National Jewish Health Hospital — just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Paramedics transported the pedestrian — 62-year-old Gary Harmon — to the Denver Health Medical Center, where he died from multiple blunt-force injuries, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner said in a July 25 update.

The intersection sits on the corner of four Denver neighborhoods: Congress Park, Hale, South Park Hill and City Park.

No additional information on the crash was available.
