A paraglider has been transported to a hospital with injuries after falling 80 feet in north Boulder on Thursday.
According to , first responders received a call at around 12:15 p.m. Thursday for a person who was injured at Wonderland Hill near Sixth Street and Locust Avenue following an 80-foot fall while using a paraglider.
The man was transported to Boulder Community Health’s Foothills Hospital. The department did not provide the extent of the paraglider’s injuries or further information about the incident.
Responding agencies included Boulder Fire-Rescue, Rocky Mountain Rescue, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and Boulder Open Space Mountain Parks Rangers, according to a Boulder-Fire Rescue Instagram post.
