A 33-year-old man was sentenced to 54 years in prison on Monday after pleading guilty to vehicular homicide in a Pueblo West crash that killed an Aurora grandmother, her grandson and a Denver man.

Investigators estimated he was traveling at more than 100 mph when he crashed in the 800 block of North Purcell Boulevard, sheriff’s officials said. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kyle pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide and will serve three consecutive 18-year sentences in the Colorado Department of Corrections, the sheriff’s office said in a news release Monday.
