A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of shooting a 28-year-old man and dumping his body in a Denver alley in August.

Taleur Davis was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, tampering with a deceased human body, and tampering with physical evidence related to the Aug. 15 death of David Richardson, according to a from the Denver Police Department.

Richardson, who was known to his friends as Envy or E, was shot at an unknown location before his body was left in the 1200 block alley between North Verbena Street and North Wabash Street on Aug. 15.

Davis pleaded guilty to several crimes in 2015, including two counts of burglary and one count of automotive trespass in Denver County, according to online court records.
