Colorado Lottery players now have another option for buying tickets without leaving the house.

Jackpot.com has launched in Colorado, giving players another option to order and play official state lottery tickets and scratchers from their mobile phones and other devices. The digital courier service will allow players in Colorado to instantly buy tickets for nationwide games such as Mega Millions and Powerball, as well as Colorado lottery games.

Jackpot.com offers players the option to order tickets through their mobile devices by purchasing tickets from brick-and-mortar retail stores in the state. “Couriers have been operating in Colorado for several years,” wrote Meghan Dougherty, communications manager for the Colorado Lottery. Jackpocket, which operates through Winners Corner in Pueblo, first launched in 2020.

Jackpot.com purchases tickets on behalf of its customers from an official state lottery retailer, displaying a scan of their ticket and transferring winnings under $600 in real-time to their account. For prizes greater than $600, the courier service securely delivers the ticket to the winning player so they can collect the winnings from the Colorado Lottery, according to the Nov. 13 from Jackpot.com.

Jackpot.com hopes that their platform will reduce the amount of unclaimed lottery winnings. “There are billions of dollars of winnings that have gone unclaimed,” said Akshay Khanna, founder and CEO of Jackpot.com. With the mobile app, winners will automatically receive winnings in their account, eliminating the chance of missing a prize just because a player forgets to check their ticket.

Another aspect of Jackpot.com’s platform is working to provide players with ethical gaming practices, such as ensuring that players are 18 or older and also includes daily deposit limits and daily purchase limits.

“At Jackpot.com, we … could not be more excited to add Colorado as our seventh state,” said Khanna. “Last year, the Colorado Lottery reached $4 billion in proceeds and they give back millions of dollars each year to state parks, schools, and various projects.”

Jackpot.com will launch with five of the most popular scratchers in Colorado, including $3,000,000 Supreme, Casino Ca$h Chips, and $250,000 ORO.
