Two dead in north Denver single-vehicle crash

Crash was announced at 5:59 a.m.

A man and woman died Saturday in a single-vehicle crash near East 40th Avenue and North Colorado Boulevard in Denver, police say.

Denver police at 5:59 a.m., saying it resulted in serious injuries and warning other drivers to expect delays.

Three hours later, that both occupants of the crashed vehicle had been taken to a hospital, where they were declared dead.

The victims were later identified by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner as Steven Klosterman and Pamela Rothery.
