A Denver police officer was cleared of all charges Friday in connection with an alleged 2023 domestic violence incident that took place in Adams County.

Jurors found Anthony Guzman Jr., 32, not guilty of harassment and third-degree assault at the end of a two-day trial, according to court records.

Guzman was arrested in Adams County on Aug. 9, 2023, after the incident that happened the previous day.

The Denver Police Department announced after Guzman’s arrest that he had been placed on paid suspension.

A department representative was not immediately able to confirm Guzman’s employment status Saturday morning.
