Ikon Pass reveals early-bird pricing significantly higher than comparable Epic Pass prices

Ikon Pass will cost 26% more than Epic Pass when it goes on sale next week

Two days after rival Epic Pass prices were announced, Ikon Pass announced its early-bird prices for next season’s passes on Thursday that are substantially higher than Epic Pass.

When Ikon’s passes go on sale next week, the , as compared to $1,051 for the comparable Epic Pass which went on sale this week. The Ikon Base Pass with restrictions will cost $909, as compared to $783 for the Epic Local Pass.

The Ikon Pass increase is 6.4% above last year’s early-bird price, and the Ikon Base Pass is increasing 4.6%. .

Ikon Pass is owned by Denver-based Alterra Mountain Company, which acquired Arapahoe Basin last November. As a result, there are no longer restrictions on Ikon Pass use there. The Ikon Base Pass will continue to be restricted to five-day use.

The Ikon Pass is now good at 61 destinations on five continents in 11 countries with seven locations in Europe. New next season is Ischgl, which is located in Austria and Switzerland.

Epic Pass price increases; now on sale for 2025-26 ski season

The Ikon Pass is honored six Colorado ski areas: The four mountains of Aspen Snowmass, Steamboat, Winter Park, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin and Eldora. Alterra Mountain Company owns Steamboat and A-Basin. It manages Winter Park, which is owned by the City of Denver.
