The skull was discovered Oct. 8, 2020, near Forest Service Road 300 and 315, close to the Teller County line and Woodland Park.

Deputies said in a news release that the man likely died at least five years before the skull’s discovery. He had a right peg lateral tooth and a slight build.

Anyone with information about the skull is asked to contact Matt Reid of the El Paso County Coroner’s Office at 719-390-2450 or the sheriff’s office at 719-390-5555.
