A woman has died and police are now investigating the case as a homicide, authorities said Friday morning.
Denver Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of East Bruce Randolph Avenue at around 10:20 p.m. and found one victim, the agency said in a post on X. The area is less than a mile from where Denver police fatally shot an armed man four hours earlier.
The woman was later pronounced dead, , and officers are working to develop information about suspects. Her name will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
