PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Broncos intend to get 800-900 fans in attendance for training camp practices this summer, likely in temporary bleachers.

CEO Greg Penner affirmed that plan on Monday as the club’s most likely approach for July and August.

“We’re coming up with a good plan,” Penner said during the NFL’s spring owners meetings. “We want to be in our facility for training camp, given that itap a great place. Teams actually like coming to us for joint practices.”

Still, the Broncos are in the midst of building a new team headquarters at their current location and the footprint of the building includes the berm fans used to sit on to watch camp practices. That will impact capacity and potentially the number of days the club opens to fans.

“Itap not going to be perfect this year,” Penner said. “We’ll probably come up with something where we could accommodate 800-900 fans in some temporary bleachers. We’ll have it open. I don’t know the exact number, but we’ll have a number of practices that are open to fans, and we’ll accommodate them.

“We really want to make that happen.”

Team president Damani Leech said he didn’t think the Broncos are considering moving any of their practices off-site to accommodate more fans.

“I know there was some early conversation about that last year. I don’t think there’s any active conversations about that this year that I’m aware of,” Leech said.

In 2024, the Broncos were near the top of the NFL with 16 training camp dates open to fans.

Penner also reiterated the plan remains for 2025 to be the only training camp impacted. That would mean the team moves into its new building as originally hoped sometime in 2026.
