Avalanche vs. Stars schedule: Game times, TV info for NHL playoff series

Avalanche and Stars will meet for the third time in six years in the Stanley Cup Playoffs

There could be two extra days off during the opening-round showdown between the Colorado Avalanche and the Dallas Stars.

The NHL released the full schedule for all eight of its first-round series Thursday. Colorado and Dallas begin Saturday night with Game 1 at American Airlines Center.

There is an extra day between Games 3 and 4, and there would be an extra day between Games 5 and 6 if necessary. Avalanche captain Gabe Landeskog’s first game back at Ball Arena could be Wednesday, April 23.

Here is the full slate:

Game 1: Saturday, April 19, 6:30 p.m. MT (TNT, truTV, Max, ALT)

Game 2: Monday, April 21, 7:30 p.m. MT (ESPN, ALT2)

Game 3: Wednesday, April 23, 7:30 MT (ESPN, ALT)

Game 4: Saturday, April 26, 7:30 MT (TBS, truTV, Max, ALT)

Game 5*: Monday, April 28, TBD

Game 6*: Thursday, May 1, TBD

Game 7*: Satuday, May 3, TBD
