A 43-year-old Longmont man found dead in a housing unit at Denver’s Downtown Detention Center died from a brain bleed caused by methamphetamine, according to an autopsy report.
died on Feb. 8 after he was found unresponsive around 6 a.m. in the jail.
An autopsy showed he died from an intracranial hemorrhage caused by the effects of methamphetamine and his death was an accident, a forensic pathologist with the wrote in the report.
Heart disease and emphysema were also contributing factors in his death, according to the autopsy.
