A 12-year-old girl critically injured in a motorcycle crash last week has died, Thornton police said Wednesday.

Brooklyn Lopeman was identified as the girl injured in the crash near Thornton Parkway and Welby Road on April 15, according to posts on a

The teen was arrested on suspicion of careless driving causing death. He has not been publicly identified because he is a juvenile.
