A sold for $14.5 million this month, making it the most expensive sale ever reported on the city’s real estate market.
The home at 1505 Sunset Blvd. checks all the boxes for high-end buyers, listing agent Marybeth Emerson with real estate company The Agency said Tuesday.
Those include unobstructed views of the Flatirons from every upstairs bedroom, a four-minute walk to Pearl Street and “A+ level quality” throughout the home.
“Boulder’s just putting its pinky toe into the eight-figure market,” Emerson said.
A few homes sold for around $10 million in 2020 and 2021, and a house just next door sold for $13.5 million in 2023, she said.
“I think Boulder is building value for those ultra-luxe buyers and showing that it is a great place to invest your money,” Emerson added.
The nearly 7,000-square-foot house was on the market for around six months, which is a quick turnaround for homes that might get one or two offers a year, Emerson said.
In addition to six bathrooms, the home features a wine cellar, exercise room and game room along with a heated pool and outdoor kitchen.
