This week, the Broomfield animal control team was called to a remove a bee swarm in a tree that is one of the largest they’ve ever seen, the police department said.
According to , animal services officers worked with a local beekeeper to safely collect and relocate the swarm.
The department asked that anyone who comes across a swarm of bees contact animal services at 303-438-6400. Reports of wasps should be directed to a licensed pest control service, according to the department.
