A man has been arrested in Texas in connection with a body found along I-25 near Larkspur last month.
Daniel Strong Jr., 73, was arrested with the help of Austin, Texas, police after he was identified as a person of interest in the June death of 65-year-old Brenda Jackson, Thursday night. Strong is being held in Travis County, Texas, on suspicion of tampering with a body.
Jackson’s body was discovered along the southbound lanes of I-25 on June 15, and Douglas County investigators initially .
The sheriff’s office is now asking for residents of Austin, New Mexico and Colorado to report any sightings of Jackson and Strong before May 24. Investigators believe a gray Honda Odyssey van with the Texas license plate 1SGSC was involved.
