Aurora firefighters tackled a 1-acre brush fire Monday afternoon that ignited along the Tollgate Creek trail near East 6th Avenue and Sable Boulevard.

Aurora Fire Rescue posted on X that the fire sparked south of 508 North Eagle Circle and that no structures were in immediate danger.

The fire was contained as of 4:03 p.m. No one was injured in the fire.
