Aurora firefighters tackled a 1-acre brush fire Monday afternoon that ignited along the Tollgate Creek trail near East 6th Avenue and Sable Boulevard.
Aurora Fire Rescue posted on X that the fire sparked south of 508 North Eagle Circle and that no structures were in immediate danger.
Update: Approximately 1-acre is burning along Tollgate Creek south of 508 N. Eagle. Cir. No immediate threat to nearby structures but resources are in place to defend the apartment complex if needed. Crews are working on containment.

The fire was contained as of 4:03 p.m. No one was injured in the fire.
