Colorado Gov. Jared Polis took to social media on Tuesday to congratulate pop icon Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce on their engagement – and not-so-subtly hint at his credentials as a wedding officiant.
on Instagram after a two-year relationship that started with Kelce trying (and failing) to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it before her Kansas City show for The Eras Tour.
Polis was quick to share good wishes for the couple on his official and X, and was heavy on references to songs on Swiftap previous albums “Reputation” and “Lover,” as well as the most recent “The Tortured Poets Department.”

The governor signed the message “Certified Swiftie Wedding Officiant.”
