Drivers on southbound Interstate 25 in Greenwood Village faced up to 45-minute delays after a crash shut down the highway’s four right lanes Thursday morning, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

All lanes of southbound I-25 reopened at exit 198 for Orchard Road in Greenwood Village, south of Denver, just before 3 p.m. Thursday, .

First responders who responded to a crashed box truck on the Orchard off-ramp were blocking the other lanes, according to .

Crews responded to the crash just after 9:30 a.m., according to the fire agency. Paramedics took one person to the hospital with unknown injuries, and no other vehicles were involved.

The lanes were closed for nearly six hours as crews worked to stabilize and remove the commercial vehicle, which rolled onto its roof during the crash, South Metro Fire Rescue officials said.

Information on the cause of the crash was not available Thursday.
