Homicide victim suffered ‘multiple’ stab wounds, Aurora police say

No arrests have been made in the case though a dark-colored vehicle was spotted

A person has died from “multiple” stab wounds in an Aurora alley, police said Tuesday , as detectives responded to a report of a homicide near 19th Avenue and Havana Street shortly before noon.

Police said there was an altercation in the alley between Havana and Hanover streets and when officers arrived at the scene, they found a man dead of multiple stab wounds. There is no suspect description so far and no arrests have been made.

But police said a dark-colored vehicle was seen in the area at the time.

The department said “a large police presence” developed in the area after the victim was found. At one point, 19th Avenue was closed between Havana and Hanover streets as police investigated.
