A female motorcyclist is dead after a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 225 near Smith Road in Aurora.
Northbound lanes of the interstate between Colfax Avenue and Interstate 70 reopened as of 4:45 p.m., according to . The lanes were closed for more than two hours.
The 2:53 p.m. crash sent the woman riding the motorcycle to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The unidentified woman died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
None of the people in the three other vehicles in the crash were injured.
