Investigators identified a man found dead near West Colfax Avenue and Pierce Street in Lakewood on Sept. 9, after asked for help from the public on Tuesday.
The white, 6-foot-1-inch, 215-pound man is described as having reddish-brown hair and green or hazel eyes. His age is estimated to be 25 to 45 years old, the coroner’s office said.
The coroner was able to identify the man with fingerprint comparisons after a family member called in with information, Jefferson County officials said in a Wednesday update.
Coroner officials are not releasing the man’s name or cause of death at this time, according to the update.
