Six years after opening as a combination sandwich shop, market and bar, Dimestore Delibar has closed in Denver.
The shop, at 1575 Boulder St., in Lower Highland, had its last day on Oct. 11.
Founded in 2019 by Tim Dotson and Chris Fuentes, the store specialized in “dimerolls,” which are sandwiches served on focaccia bread and then rolled up into a neat package. Dotson, who had previously worked for restaurants like Tag and the Family Jones Spirit House, also added small plates like lamb gyro, corndogs, and chicken-fried duck confit.
Dimestore also sold hot sauces, candies and fancy condiments, and offered beers and cocktails in the space, which resembled a darkened cross between a diner and a grandma’s kitchen.
