Denver weather: Snow ends, but icy roads remain for morning commute

Below-freezing temperatures forecast for Denver until 11 a.m. Thursday, according to weather service

The snow is done in Denver — for now — but icy roads could complicate the morning commute before temperatures heat up Thursday.

Below-freezing temperatures are forecast for Denver until about 11 a.m. Thursday, . Until then, ice will remain on roads throughout the Denver area.

Morning commuters should expect to encounter icy spots on roadways across the city, Denver police said Thursday morning.

As of 7 a.m. Thursday, ice and heavy traffic jams on highways in and around the city.

Denver’s next chance for snow will be early Saturday morning, between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m., according to the weather service.
