Westbound Interstate 70 was closed Monday in Arapahoe County for a crash involving two semitrailers, according to the sheriff’s office.

As of 12:15 p.m. Monday, westbound I-70 was closed at exit 328 for Deer Trail, .

Traffic was being diverted onto the off-ramp and back on at the on-ramp because the crash happened between them. Westbound lanes were expected to remain closed for at least four to six hours, according to .

Photos at 12:03 p.m. Monday showed two semitrailers — one carrying tires and another carrying paper products — crashed on the highway. Each of the trucks’ trailers was damaged, and was resting against the guardrail without a large portion of its passenger side.

Information about the cause of the crash and when westbound I-70 is expected to reopen was not immediately available.

No injuries were reported in the crash, according to the .
