Southbound I-25 lanes closed in Castle Rock for crash

Multiple crashes closed southbound Interstate 25 near Pueblo and Castle Rock on Friday evening, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

A crash blocked three lanes of southbound , between exit 181 for Plum Creek Parkway and exit 174 for Tomah Road, at 5:53 p.m., CDOT officials said in an alert. All three lanes were still blocked as of 6:54 p.m.

A second crash at 6:09 p.m., state officials said, but the highway reopened just before 7 p.m.
