A motorcyclist died early Sunday morning after being hit by a turning car in Englewood, police said.
Englewood officers responded to the two-vehicle crash in the 1900 block of West Dartmouth Avenue at 12:04 a.m. Sunday, .
When officers arrived, they found a motorcyclist unconscious and not breathing, police said. The motorcyclist, who has not been publicly identified, died at the scene of the crash.
Investigators believe the motorcyclist was driving east on Dartmouth when a car turning onto westbound Dartmouth hit the bike, according to the department. The driver of the car was cited for careless driving resulting in death, police said.
