Colorado’s first open race for governor in eight years is fast approaching, and The Denver Post wants your questions for the candidates.

The Post is co-sponsoring two primary debates with Denver7 and Colorado Public Radio. We earlier asked readers to suggest questions for the Democratic debate between Phil Weiser and Michael Bennet, which will air live Thursday at 6 p.m.

Now we want your suggestions for questions for the Republican candidates ahead of the second debate, which is set to for 6 p.m. on May 14.

State Rep. Scott Bottoms and state Sen. Barbara Kirkmeyer are confirmed for the GOP debate. The third candidate on the Republican primary ballot, Victor Marx, has declined to participate.

For the Republican candidates, whether you want to know where they stand on an issue thatap important to you or more about their experience or plans, tell us: What should we ask them? The form will be active until noon Monday.

Please use the form below to suggest a question for the Republican candidates. We’re asking for your contact and background info, too, because Denver7 may reach out to record video of you asking your question for the debate.
