Southbound Interstate 25 was closed Monday afternoon for a two-vehicle crash in El Paso County, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
As of 2:30 p.m. Monday, southbound I-25 was closed between Exit 119 for Rancho Colorado Boulevard and Exit 116 for County Line Road, near Fountain, .
The crash happened near mile marker 117, according to state transportation officials.
Two cars were involved in the crash, , but additional information about the cause of the crash and whether anyone was injured was not available.
Fountain is roughly 14 miles south of Colorado Springs and 30 miles north of Pueblo.
