
Momentum on the recruiting trail isn’t slowing down for the Colorado football team.
Three class of 2027 prospects announced their verbal commitment to the Buffaloes on Saturday, while another two added pledges on Sunday.
On Saturday, offensive linemen Jaiden Lindsay (from Olney, Maryland) and Zaquan Linton (West Palm Beach, Florida), and linebacker Jovon Pulliam (Hoover, Alabama) committed to CU. Running back Steven Alexis (St. Petersburg, Florida) and safety Samari Howard (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) announced their commitments on Sunday.
All fivetook official visits to CU’s campus this weekend.
Head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffs now have 14 players committed for the 2027 class, and the group comes from nine different states. Four are from Sanders’ home state of Florida.
Lindsay is rated as a three-star recruit by On3 and 247Sports. The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder stars at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Maryland. He chose the Buffs over Penn State, Maryland and Virginia Tech, among others.
Linton is a 6-5, 295-pound tackle from Palm Beach Central (Florida) High School. Rated by On3 and 247Sports as a three-star prospect, he has two dozen offers. He recently visited UCF and also has offers from Florida, Miami and others. He committed to Miami in July of 2025, but decommitted in April.
Rated as a three-star by 247Sports, the 6-1, 230-pound Pulliam had a huge junior year at Hoover (Alabama) High School, posting 91 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, nine sacks and 21 quarterback hurries in 11 games. As a sophomore, he had 15 tackles and four sacks in 10 games.
Howard is rated a three-star by On3 and 247Sports. Listed at 5-feet, 11.5 inches and 168 pounds, Howard has 29 offers, including from Florida State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Oregon. As a junior last year at St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida) High School, he had 34 tackles, three interceptions and four passes defended.
Alexis does not have a star rating by On3 or 247Sports, but the 6-foot, 203-pounder, who has exceptional speed, is coming off a big junior year at Gibbs (Florida) High School. In 11 games, he rushed for 1,113 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 9.0 yards per carry. Alexis, who took an official visit to Pittsburgh the previous weekend, has 19 scholarship offers, per 247, including from Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa and Virginia.
