One night after trading out of the first round, the Nuggets used their new second-round pick to select Trevon Brazile 35th overall in the NBA Draft on Wednesday.
Brazile, 23, averaged 13 points and 7.3 rebounds per game as a fifth-year senior at Arkansas last season. The 6-foot-9 power forward played his last four years of college ball for the Razorbacks and his last two under coach John Calipari, who’s known for developing his players into NBA-ready prospects.
This is the first draft pick that co-general managers Ben Tenzer and Jon Wallace have used since taking over the front office in 2025. They were slated to pick 26th in Tuesday’s first round, but they traded down nine spots in exchange for two future second-round picks. The San Antonio Spurs drafted Brazile on Denver’s behalf.
