Police found after evacuating the water park in north metro Denver on Saturday because of safety concerns.
will reopen Sunday following the evacuation and investigation that started around noon on Saturday, park officials said on social media.
Park officials evacuated guests after the Federal Heights Police Department responded to a “potential threat” at the park at 8801 N. Pecos St. The police department did not give additional details about the nature of the threat.
“There was no credible threat found within the park and there is no ongoing threat to the public,” agency officials said at 3:30 p.m.
Guests can pick up property left behind until 7 p.m. Saturday by arriving through the 90th Avenue entrance and then coming to the park’s main entrance.
Anyone who can’t pick up their things on Saturday can come to the park’s Learn-to-Swim Pool entrance near the red brick administration building starting at 8 a.m. Sunday.
Park officials will share information about ticket reimbursements at a later time, the company said on social media.
