Josie joined The Denver Post in 2019 and worked as the food reporter, covering the restaurant, bar and beer beats until mid-2022. She continues to freelance for The Post on occasion, offering travel content and other features news.
Prior to joining the Post in 2019, she worked for Eater and The Coloradoan. Outside of Colorado, her work has appeared in outlets from Sunset to The New York Times.
Josie is currently completing a master's degree in literature from Middlebury College. In 2009, she graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Spanish linguistics and international relations. She speaks Spanish and can muddle through Catalan when pressed.
