Getting your player ready...

Ski season might be over at most Colorado resorts, but bargain season has just begun. The offseason at high-country eateries in resort towns such as Vail and Beaver Creek means deep discounts of up to 50 percent at otherwise expensive and often award-winning restaurants. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to treat yourself to a fine dining experience at places such as Terra Bistro, Montauk or La Tour in Vail, Vista or Masato’s Sushi in Avon, Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek or the Ritz-Carlton at Bachelor Gulch, entrees for as little as $12 or three courses for $34 ought to do the trick. Check local advertising and don’t settle for anything less than half-price entrees. After a savory sample of seared ahi, elk tenderloin or filet mignon at some of the top restaurants in the Rockies, skiing will be little more than a distant memory.
