Wear your heart on your sleeve.
Or your lapel, your pocket, your collar or any other place you feel is necessary!
Pod & Capsule is having a workshop tonight on transferring images to fabric without screenprinting – something I’ve always wanted to try, but never had the gall.
The streets are changing, you know – you don’t have to stick so rigorously to the credit of screen and ink printing.
Explore. Iron-on. Wear.
What: Workshop: Transferring Images to Fabric
Where: Pod & Capsule, 554 Santa Fe Drive, 6 p.m.
Cost: $25 (for materials)

When Johnny comes marching home again …
He’ll be marching straight into Forest Room 5 for a Civil War re-enactment.
Isn’t that awesome? Straight from war, to the bar, back to war.
The event is, apparently, BYO Musket.
Party like it’s 1875.
What: Civil War reenactment
Where: Forest Room 5, 2532 15th Street, 5:55 p.m.

Showering recommended, not required.
The Marquis Theater, born of the flood from The Giggling Grizzly just across the street, brought Widespread Wednesdays over with them.
Gathering steam, the Marquis Theater has a calendar that’s always packed, and Wednesdays are a good place to start if you haven’t been yet.
So grab your sandals and dirty jeans – you can shake and lurch all over the church floor tonight to Dan Walker and the Sky (who, oddly, are influenced by some group named Widespread Panic).
Groovy.
What: Widespread Wednesdays @ Marquis Theater
Where: 2009 Larimer Street, 8 p.m.
Cost: no cover
