Bills keep coming for Love

Courtney Love soon may be singing “I owe, I owe, it’s off to bankruptcy court I go.”

Love, 40, has been hit with a $122,000 lien for failing to pay fees associated with her Manhattan apartment, thesmokinggun.com reported. The past two months, court records show Love has had legal judgments against her for nonpayment by a French recording studio ($76,958.77) and a Santa Barbara law firm ($232,103).

Madonna gives her kid credit – $10,000 worth

Madonna has given her 8-year-old daughter Lourdes a credit card with a $10,000 limit, Us Weekly magazine reports. A friend of Madonna’s told In Touch Weekly, “she is hoping to teach Lourdes to be responsible with money.”

Bob Geldof is one pushy Brit.

After finding out Prince Charles cannot attend his Live 8 benefit concert in London, Geldof is lobbying for Princes William and Harry to attend the July 2 show, since their mother Princess Diana and father attended the first concert in 1985. “William should be there. His mum was there for the original one and they should represent their generation.”

Geldof may be disappointed. William is scheduled to be in New Zealand on official duty, while Harry is attending Sandhurst Military Academy.

Heath Ledger got hooked on skateboarding while filming “Lords Of Dogtown.” He even tools around New York on his own board, skynews.com’s Sandro Monetti reported.

After playing a California skateboard pioneer in the 1970s, Ledger is testing his skills on the New York streets. Recently, after leaving the Manhattan nightclub Lotus, Ledger crashed on a cobblestone street and limped his way home.

The luxury store Hermes apologized to Oprah Winfrey for turning her away from one of its Paris boutiques last week. Hermes said Winfrey and her entourage were turned away because a private public relations event was being set up.

“Hermes regrets not having been able to welcome Madame Oprah Winfrey and the people accompanying her to give them all the attention and service that Hermes is committed to giving each of its clients in the world,” said the statement.

Tom Cruise proved he’s not all wet when he doused complaints against four British TV pranksters who squirted him with water at Sunday’s London premiere of “War of The Worlds.”

A Scotland Yard spokesman said the men still are “on police bail and are due to report back to police on July 4,” noting charges still could be filed.

A spokesperson for the Channel 4 show told the Daily Mirror in an apology to Cruise, “the stunt was intended to be light-hearted rather than malicious.”

Lindsay Lohan is mad at Disney for its Mickey Mouse treatment of the film star.

After a screening her latest picture, “Herbie: Fully Loaded,” Sunday in Hollywood, Lohan left the El Capitan Theater in a huff. The New York Post wrote that Lohan said, “I am so (angry)! … I was upset when I didn’t hear my song during the race scene … I was like, ‘Whoaaa,’ because nobody stays to hear the song in the closing credits. So I ran out.”

Disney also changed the original poster for the film, omitting Lohan. A second poster features the VW Bug car and cast members off to the side. Disney claimed it changed the poster because Lohan, who appears in the film as a busty redhead, since has lost a lot of weight and has dyed her hair blond.

It’s a woman’s life, Bruce Willis admits. Quoted by the New York Post’s Cindy Adams, Willis said: “Between my girls, their friends, my wife, her friends, our nannies, their friends, and the cook, every day there were 13 women in my house in the old days. And one guy – me. In 18 years I didn’t win one argument.”
