On Saturday, Lawson won his fourth modified race in five tries this season at Rocky Mountain National Speedway. The latest win was in a BST modified race – the first event Lawson entered in a first-year traveling series that was founded by former Colorado National Speedway late models champion Joe Bellm. Lawson, 45, won RMNS modified championships in 2000 and 2003.
